Schools in Haiti
Our first project was a new school in Haiti for children under 15 years old. In addition to the long-lasting impact of the catastrophic earthquake in 2010, existing schools are severely lacking in basic supplies of educational tools like stationary, mathematical equipment, and classroom equipment.

Starting point
The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience in Haiti and to find out how we could make improvements.
Support from local communities
Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the educational landscape in Haiti.
End result
Contextualizing the needs of Haitian schoolchildren, their parents, and their educators helped us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of learning.
À partir de 2018, l'Amicale a lancé les Foulées Roses Kochersberg Ackerland, un événement intégré aux animations nationales d'Octobre rose pour la lutte contre le cancer du sein. Les organisateurs se sont fixés plusieurs objectifs :
Faire de cette manifestation un événement pour toute la communauté du Kochersberg et de l'Ackerland, en organisant chaque année la course dans une commune différente.
Mettre en avant le caractère rural du territoire en proposant un circuit en pleine nature.
Assurer que chaque euro des 10 € d'inscription soit intégralement reversé à la Ligue contre le cancer, en couvrant les frais d'organisation, y compris l'acquisition des t-shirts offerts aux participants, grâce à nos partenaires.
